Putnam Hill Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution of Greenwich, Connecticut was organized on December 28, 1897; chartered February 2, 1898. For more than 100 years, Putnam Hill Chapter DAR has promoted historic preservation, patriotism, and education in the Town of Greenwich. Membership is open to all women over the age of eighteen, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from a Revolutionary War patriot.
